I just did a trade for the KB Toys SLHs set, Pick-A-Lilly and Sunny Salsa. The set was MIP. They came in the mail this morning. I was so excitied to finally have them that I couldn't wait to free them from the clear bag! Then I got them out.... Sunny had black marks all over her face!!!!! Once I noticed this I started inspecting both of them closer. I removed P-A-L's raincoat to look for more black marks only to find a HUGE dent in her chest!!!!!!!!!! I am NOT a picky collector by any means, but this is just UNACEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!! I was able to remove most (not all, but most) of the black marks off of Sunny with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. But there's nothing I can do for poor P-A-L.... I can't complain to Hasbro because it's too old and I didn't buy it myself. Besides, it's an exclusive. They would only send me a pony of equal value, not the same one.

I do want to make it clear that I do NOT blame the girl I traded with. I blame HASBRO!!!!!!!!!!

*hugs* that is awful. I am so sorry! That is always really disappointing, especially when you have been wanting and waiting for them for a really long time. I hope you are able to find a new one really soon.

oh that royally sucks! I would also be very peeved. I'm sorry! I don't have PAL to trade, I had to trade with someone out of state to get my set as I don't have any KB's anymore. Hope someone can help you out!

I have a KB about an hour away. I was there two weeks ago and they still had tons of that set. As a matter of fact my mom bought hers then. I can check if you want me to and see if they have any more.

Ponys are getting scarce around here though, but I can call and find out before I make the trip. :-)

aw, that's so sad! I guess that's a good reason to keep them mib, you'll never know their faults and their value won't go down because of them.

i do have one to trade that is mint, but i only to trade her for a shs or flutter, in less than mint condition of course.

My goodness! That is awful. Do you have any pics? I'd like to see the dented chest one, I've never heard of something like that before. The black marks, did they come from her clothes you could tell, or they're just there?

That really sucks, sailorstitch. I'm sorry. :l weren't there other stories of collector's getting super mad because a lot of their ponies, when they took them out of the packages, were *VERY* dirty?

ohh i'm angry too! hasbro should be more carefull with ponies because a lot of them have defects, factrory flaws...it's abnormal.

i receieved mine too but i don't open them so i didn't know if something goes wrong with my P A L...

When i go to buy one in the stores, i have to choose her carrefully because all have defects !

Im one of those weird ones that will get a defective pony because i feel sorry for it, yes i find injured animals and heal them too, I think its genetic

I remember a lot of folks saying their Pick-A-Lilly had dented chests. It's because of the packaging. Similar to Amberlocks smooshed bottom.

i'd give her just a little while out of the packaging to see if the dent relaxes at all.. i know a lot of my dented ponies have popped back into place once they've been released from their cramped packaging.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I know the dissapointment you feel, once I ordered my sister a birthday present online, when it came in the mail it was completely broken.
