well stmap prices are going up here in the US a few cents so does anyone know if the priority price is going up then and if so how much si the mailing of the packages going up, ugh!

I cannot stand UPS. They charge a fortune, plus they take forever to ship a package. And there's a UPS station right here in town. >< I go with USPS always. I won't buy/order anything with UPS shipping. My packages tend to get lost with them also.

Needless to say -- I always ship with USPS. I've never lost a package with them. And I get TONS of packages, LOL! The P.O. people all know me well.

AHA I found something on the UPS site that says their brokers are THEIR OWN employees..not another company.
Still..another company or not..anyone out of the US always gets screwed and it sucks royally.

Yes, they employ their own customs personnel. This is not the same as the brokerage companies that charge the fees. Customs fees (duties and taxes) are completely separate from brokerage fees.

I work for UPS. I explain this to people every single day at my job. Unless my training manuals are wrong, I think I know what I'm talking about here.

I sent two packages one day, one to Ontario within Canda and one to California. They differed only by a few grams, the one going to california cost me just over $3 the one going to Ontario was just under $10. What is the explanation of that? Forever puzzled. BOTH packages were single ponies.....


The cost of stamps is going up in canda as well in the new year...Sorry for anybody that didn't know.
