Okay I only collect g3's i like. However when the birthstones came out because they were more special I decided to get the whole set. I didn't even like them all, i hated the tinsel. So i went against my heart for once and bought them all cause they were birthday ponies and to me you either get the set or you dont when it comes to this type.......

And now hasbro have made these stunning birthflower ponies!!!!!!

I could tear my hair out, this are just sooo special and when I think about all the money I wasted on the birthstones i could just scream!

So now I've decided to sell all my birthstones after I get all these babies.
I'm just sooo annoyed right now I can't explain it!

Does anyone else share my pain?

I just saw the link to the picture of those beauties!! I swear, I was about to die when I saw them! They're all so lovely. I can't wait till they come out! And here I was telling myself that I would cut down on buying ponies. ^^" I really want to get the whole set of these though. Especially in that both my mom and I LOVE flowers. I'm so excited! Luckily I only bought my birthstone as well as my mom and dads. I like these flower ponies a whole lot better!

I'm dying to be able to get that set, they look so much like the alternate birthflowers, I do have the birthstones too but I did never like them in particular, they just look to bland.

Maybe you can just keep the Birthstone set, and then buy the pretty ones still? No one liked Mimic in the 80's, and look how sought after she is.

I know, I can't believe it, it's going to cost so much to get another 12 ponies, plus the valentine's ones which I'll have to have shipped over the ocean to the UK which will cost me a fortune. Wasn't the birthstones enough! I think the flowers are so lovely but I'm going to have to eat beans on toast for a month

I'm so glad I didn't buy the first birthday ones, they're so ugly x.x I hate it when I get a pony, and then it comes out with a better pose or coloring! I don't like having doubles.

I think it's frustrating since obviously I want the whole set!!! And 12 ponies is a lot to spend, for me at least. But they're so beautuful it's hard to complain.

I love the new Birthflowers and can't wait to see July's I'm not big on the Birthstones at all, though I do have July and I find her really beautiful and bright. I like August Breeze and November Nights of the Birthstones, but other than that, they can keep them :/ September's pretty though because she's a white pony with blue hair...*sucker*

I know it's frustrating Tash! Too bad we can't see Hasbro's game plan and then we could plot out what we want exactly. It would help cut down on duplicates too!

I'm happy to have the birthstones and birthflowers. I think the birthstones are more unique and I really like a lot of them, which I didn't think I would.

I hope we see the birthflowers in stores soon!

Nah, it doesn't bother me one bit. I love the birthstone ponies, and I never could understand why so many people dislike them. I'm just happy that Hasbro is producing so many more wonderful ponies in 2006!!

I'm a little miffed that they'd do this, but you know most of us'll end up buying all the new birthflower ponies anyway. I really wish they'd have done that to begin with- always thought the birthstone ponies looked much cheaper and poorly made than the average MLPs. Specially April pony with her squished in creepy head. Blech!

I agree with you on that for the most part. I was never a really huge fan of the birthstone ponies. Not that I hated them or anything...but there were a few whose hair/body/and symbol combonations I just really ended up disliking (such as the October one...though admittedly I have her only because she's my dad's birthstone pony. :P)

I really adore these flower ones! At first I was thinking I would only get my own flower...but if they're as lovely in real life, I may end up trying to get the set if possible. (I better start saving up my Christmas/birthday money for them!! >_<)
