Does anyone have any special techniques to get a stubborn marks, surface dirt, or pen off of their ponies? Or even remedies for crinkly tinsel or frizz? Maybe something know one has thought of for smooze?
I only really have two for hair, and that's Hemp Conditioning spray for ponies with extreme frizz. Spray it on damp hair, and then move a straigtening iron through it. Works miracles.
I did this technique on my Scrumptious that had a very sad mane & tail.. Now she's totally minty.
Oh, and for ponies with frizzy, curly hair, I use the spray after washing their mane and tails, then twist the hair to get this result..
Twist as tight as you can, and then let it air dry.
For crayon marks, I like to use Nail Polish Remover. ONLY on NSS ponies, though.
What about you?

Well, I like to take a pony in the shower with me so I can wash their hair along with mine. Lately I've been using VO5(V05? I dunno the name o_O) on them, along with conditioniong. It seems to help.

hmmm, I prefer myb-g-s technique (bl**dy good scrub) which involves a toothbrush and soap it brought a lot of my ponies back from the bait box! Rosedust went from grey to yellow.
acetone is great for getting rid of g3 factory flaw spots and killing mould

Everytime I get a new G3 I wash there heair with Pantene conditioner. Works like a charm. There's also a technique ThirteenSpiders told me about that she uses, and her ponies are gorgeous.

Well, this isn't really my secret, since I got this off of a pony site, but it is still very effective, even though I've only had to use this once.
I traded my friend my Hidden Treasure for her Year 3 NSS Posey. However, when I got Posey from her, I was disappointed at the condition. She had some surface dirt, a few marks on her back legs, and some gloppy brown mascara was in her hair and on the top of her hair. So what did I do? After whining and complaining that she ripped me off, I went on the Internet to do a bit of research. Lo and behold, I found this technique:
You need:
Baking soda
Antibacterial soap
An old toothbrush
A bowl
In the bowl, mix the baking soda and antibacterial soap into a paste very thoroughly. When it looks white and pasty, dip your toothbrush in it and scrub the pony's marks with it. When you're done, hold the pony upside down under your faucet so you can wash off the paste. Be sure to hold it upside down, as water can get inside the pony and cause mold and mildew. Also, it's best to wash the pony again awhile afterwards in case any paste dried onto it.
It is very easy, and now most of Posey's marks are gone!

Soft Scrub with bleach and a toothbrush works great to clean off surface dirt; and a q-tip with nail polish remover works great for those stubborn marks

For marks on a pony I use dish soap and a tooth brish with the plastic strip in the middle and scrub. I also love goof off. I always use suave to condition but thats only because it is cheap

i soak ponies hair in conditioner for 5-10 minutes (depending on how bad the hair is) and wash it out. then it looks shiny and is eaiser to brush.
I use toothbrush and soap when cleaning dirty body ponies.
and q-tips to clean out mould.
