Out of curiosity where in Australia are you? I'm in Sydney and I've only seen them for 19.99 when they're on sale. Usually they're more like 25-28 dollars here, which equates to about 18-20 dollars US.
Man, the US gets everything cheaper...why did I leave? haha

I'm in WA, just south of Perth. I found them at Toyworld just before Christmas.

The bride / princess sets are $10.99 here too... I didn't buy them yesterday because they were so expensive. I was expecting $6.99 like the dress-up pony sets!

I saw them yesterday at KB and there prices were 12.99, and since I have both of them, I saw no real reason to get them.

The styling ponies are 14.99 as are the balloon ponies. The princess ones ARE 10.99
