I know there are three variations of NBBE Baby Heart Throb, but is one rarer than the other? There's the BHT with just pink hearts, then the one with pink hearts with glittery wings, and one with pink hearts and blue/grey wings.
I personally want to collect them all, because I adore Baby Heart Throb, but is one less common & more sought after than the others?

Yeah, I mainly only see the version of her with the pink hearts. I too have only seen one with blue/grey wings as well.

Yeah, I know that the German version with the non-sparkly hearts with wings is rarer and worth slightly more than the UK version with the non-sparkly hearts (no wings). I have never heard of a version with sparkly hearts and wings, though.

I have never seen one with glittery wings to the hearts
The German version (with winged hearts) is slightly more expensive than the UK version (plain hearts), but in all honesty, her price has come down in the past year. She can still be tricky to obtain though!
There's also a Spanish version, who is very HTF.

I don't believe there has ever been a glittery symbolled version of Baby Heart Throb either. Certainly not in the UK - but I've never heard even the slightest indication that one exists.
I think because the Play and Care Set Baby Ponies were made at the same time as the Beddy Bye Eye babies, and the BBEs didn't have glittered symbols, nor did the PACS babies. Certainly there is a winged and a non-winged variation, but no glitter.
The confusion is maybe because some of the earlier set of babies have a painted and a non painted symbol variation (ie baby Surprise, Baby Glory).
Baby Heart Throb - like Baby Ribbon - has no glitter to her hearts. I guess the adults never had glitter, so it made no sense for the babies to need it!

It was on Dream Valley. There wasn't any indication that it was rumored on there, so I figured it was fact, since she usually notes if it is gossip or not.

| Baby Heart Throb (pegasus) is lavander with dark pink hair, blue eyes, and three pink hearts as her symbol. There are two other variations of Baby Heart Throb: one with pink hearts w/glittery silver wings and one with pink hearts w/blue-grey wings. |

Since I'm new to the arena...I'm not gonna upset the mods with my usual TP-ish rant about why Dream Valley should never, ever be viewed without a collector's health warning.
All I will say is that, singlehandedly, the website has invented most of the pony rumours that currently exist today, over the course of it's history. And that if you want a reliable ID site, you should definitely steer well clear ^_^.
Literally - reader beware ^_^.

Well, the fault and responsibility lies with the webmistress of the site, not the collectors who trust in it's information. There have just been so many occasions over the years where direct evidence has been sent her way and she's either ignored it or taken it and then changed information relating to the ponies because it doesn't tally with what she remembers.
A good example is Blue Heart Dazzleglow. Last time I visited DV (which was a while ago because it's bad for my blood pressure...ahem) she had that listed as a Euro pony because she'd had a pink hearted one as a kid. The fact that all the MOC ones i've seen have been on US style cards and 98% of the blue heart dazzles sold on Ebay are from US sellers seems to be irrelevant ^_^.
I don't say ALL of Dream Valley is wrong. But there are some glaring errors which have - over the last seven or eight years at least - cost collectors money on E-bay (the yellow Glory thing being one of those).
Unfortunately too few ponypeople are aware of the glaring mistakes. And so these rumours keep on cycling round. And the end result is that people spend more money on a pony believing it to be something it's not - and that's not right.
:S

Wow. I am glad that I never use that site anymore. A LONG time ago I did use it, until I found a mistake like that, and then I never used it again. I have been using mylittleponycollector.com--that one seems to be pretty reliable, I think (correct me if I am wrong, please!)
