Sorry for the bluntness and the insane font size but everytime I post this no one sees it. The winter babies have been found at Target. BabyInBlue at the Playhouse posted back in November that she found them at her Target in the front at the check out lines. Link Was this a fluke shipment? Perhaps but the winter babies have been found at a Target. BabyInBlue lives in Nebraska, btw.

Uh, it's also a common thing to have store exclusives found somewhere else. Shipping and packing "accidents" happen whether they're meant to or not. It used to happen all the time when there were a lot more Barbie and other toy exclusives. Someone finding them at a Target was probably all about getting lucky. Honestly, it's not like anybody else has found them at a Target.

I don't doubt that it happens, but I really can't see why it does! There should be codes at both ends that need to match in order for them to be booked. I imagine that the penalties incurred can be an annoyance as well.

I think we can rule out the fact that they will arrive wholesale at Target by this point. Out of interest, is Nebraska one of the states that has Meijers?

I work at the Disney Store and we sometimes get shipments from THe Childrens Place. We are sister companies and boxes get scanned, and untill we open the box, we have no idea they don't belong to us. WE have also gotten DVD's meant for Sams or Costco and our product with Strawberry Shortcake on it. THe factories that make this stuff and package it sometimes screw up and stuff goes to the wrong place.

It could happen that Target got a box from sister company Meijers, opened it, saw it was just like what they sell, and put it out

Oh, I know it happens, but I can't see why. I do the bookings for a clothing company, and it would be most difficult for me to do, though admittedly much easier for sister companies that will have the same codes.

Wow! I didn't even think about sister companies getting eachothers things, that makes sense to me.
I definitely think Target getting them was a complete fluke though, with the holidays over I would be surprised to see anyone find anymore new shipments of them but then again you just never know.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if anymore popped up. I had a really hard time getting rid of my extra two sets but I needed a starter for my car and they covered the complete cost of it. Lol, now though, I'm debating on returning the TRU 4-pack, Butterfly Island Adventure set, and Royalette I just bought because I've spent so much on ponies and am going broke and still have things I need to buy. It's like...all my stuff needs to go back.
