anyone else who's disappointed?

i decided to open up one of the wing wishes. i got SO disappointed at the wings, they're just hanging there.... so i put them back into their plastic thingie so that the wings are more.... steady?

I display mine with those plastic things on the wings! I have one that isn't and the wings are all flopped over and getting bent...

Aw, they don't stay up? Mine are all still MIB, so I didn't know.

the "wings" are like painted heavy canvas fabric with a cheap lil scrunchie sewn to it. It was a bit of a dissapointment.

I didn't like them either and infact the little elastic band was crap I had to take one set back and then the set I got in exchange well the band did the same thing stretched out I had to sew it to make it work>.< just cheap crap. Monkey is happy with them that is what counts.

That is too bad, I passed on them but I loved the little wings, glad I didn't get them now, I would have been really disappointed. Sad

i really believed (while i looked at them still in box) that the wings were made of a "hard" material, like plastic or something. Sad

like ladyarcher said, they "flops" over and get bent if you don't keep them in the plastic thing.

I thought they were a hard material too. Lol, I got real disapointed when my sister bought Minty and I found out otherwise. I'm so glad I never picked one up.

The elastic on ours is all stretched out of shape too. The kids don't even use them anymore because they don't stay on properly.

I wish I had left the harder plastic on them.

Yep - like others I thought they were some kind of hard (and durable) plastic and I thought they would attach better with something solid like the scooter ponies backpacks.

After seeing how frail the wings were I kept mine with the plastic on either side as well. Thankfully I only bought my Wing Wishes Blossomforth cos I really wanted the Spring Fever she came packaged with, so no huge disappointment for me.

hmmm...the wings on my Minty came out fine. And to top it off I got a free pony with my winged. (Tea Leaf))

I figured they wouldn't be very good and only got the Minty because Tea Leaf was the extra pony. Minty is still MIB though. I was never excited about it or anything. In fact I don't really like 'dress up' ponies or anything of that sort.
