i don't know why, but for some reason today i started thinking about when i got my pink baby ember.
she was an easter pressie from my grandma. she wrapped ember in a box, put her in a handmade easter basket, and hung her from the doorknob so when i went to visit her that day, there she was waiting for me! it was so sweet, and probably my most fave pony memory.
soooo...
whats your fave/most remembered pony moment?

I remember having ponies when I was little but that is about all I could tell you.
I think my most memorable event would be getting my first g1 again, was it earlier this year or end of last, lol, I must be getting old, I can't even remember the date!

I remember seeing Pinwheel on TV. I was watching it with my Nan, and I didn't have Pinwheel yet, so I exclaimed madly to her that 'she was the MAGIC pony!' and so forth. Next morning, when I woke up (godfather moment) there was a pony in my bed! Pinwheel! She still had her body, mind.

Prolly my most memorable memory is finding Powder in the SPCA Thrift shop just before the G3s debuted - Mattie and I were waiting for our pizza next door and needed to kill time. They had a toy bin and I had a strong feeling there was a pony in there - so we searched nearly the whole thing (except the far back corners), and I was about to admit defeat and move on, when Matt reached to the far back corner near the bottom, and pulled out Powder. I was so happy!
Also have good memories of all my other G1s:
Firefly and Sand Dollar were gifts (hand-me-downs) from my cousin
Moondancer and Moonstone were gifts from one of my dad's students
Halfnote was bought from KMart (no longer here)
Squeezer (don't remember)

I won a Sky Rocket and a DNP Twirler from the MLP comic when I was young (two wins) I remember coming home and the postman had left the package on top of the bin outside.... was I ever excited that day!
I also have a no so nice memory.... I went to a car boot and bought Sprinkles and waterfall playset with my tons and tons of change... than got told off for spending all my money on it (like two pound, but whatever)

It was when I got Fizzy. It wasn't so much the getting of the pony that is the memory. Its that my mother came and rescued me from someone bad, and the pony was waiting for me when I was someplace safe. <3

I have lots of pony memories, but two in particular come to mind.
November 1987 - the birth of my kid sister. I really did not want to go see the new baby (I was almost six - you know how kids are and I'd been an only kid for that long!). So my Grandad and my Dad tricked me into going to the hospital. When I got there, my Mum had a surprise for me - Mountain Boy Sunburst. Allegedly he was "from my sister". I honestly remember the pony better than the baby - but Elena and I are very close, so I guess it worked And I still have Sunburst - he was my first Adult Boy Pony.
The other one is a bit different :S but still family related.
In December 1991 my mother was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia and she had to have an emergency blood transfusion to save her life. For a week or so it was touch and go. I remember she went into hospital on Friday 13th December, because I remember thinking that it needed to be a lucky one and not an unlucky one. I think I was about nine - almost ten. I think it was more to take my mind off it than anything, but on the Saturday morning my Dad took me into town and told me he was going to buy me a pony. It was between Surfing Days (the tropical pegasus) and Rainbow Magic (the Rainbow Curl pegasus). I chose Rainbow Magic because her backcard story said that she could grant wishes. No prizes for guessing what I wished that day ^_^.
My mother is still here and though she's on and off treatment, she's fairly healthy and has a great quality of life, fourteen years on. Rainbow Magic was a lucky charm then and she still sits in my cupboard now, even though I've long since upgraded her. She's just too special to part with
Those are my most significant pony memories, anyhow
