Aww! Spike is cute! I rather like that he's purple, since it's my favorite color. I agree about the ear flap things. I think I would have prefered small horns or something. Ah well.

Is it just me...or does this new spike look a LOT like Figment the dragon from the Disney ride? o_o" He's purple as well isn't he?

his voice-actor is still around, so it's possible. i believe the same person does voices in cartoon network's cow and chicken, as well as some other more recent cartoons.

it would be fabulous if they hired the same person. :D

Did you guys not see the trailer? He doesn't really look as good in there and he's dark blue instead of purple which makes the orange/yellow stand out more [not a good thing in my opinion]. I hope the figure will be more like the artwork cause he looks ok in there.

But overall, I must say I'm impressed they introduced a character at least, didn't see that coming! Now I can't wait for the unicorn!!!

I cant see the trailer!! I click on the high and low band options and they both open up a box with a little square, circle and triangle in the top left hand corner....am I doing anything wrong?!

How awesome would it be if they used Spike and the "legend of the Princess of Ponyville" to tie everything back to the G1 line? That's a stretch of my imagination, and I don't think it'll happen, but it would make for a must-see movie.
