Do first edition flutter wings {colored tabs} fit into second edition flutter wing slots {clear tabs}?

Oh that is a good question but I think they would as the wing mechanism did not chagne just the body shape. Anyone know for sure?

I was under the impression that they were slightly different, but since I only have sets of the first set of wings, and no original second set wings, I can't tell you for sure.

I've never tried putting my first set wings into my second set flutters.

Yes, they do fit. the only difference is, that they are able to be pushed in further. (there is a hole at the bottom of the '86 issue wing slot. to allow clear tabs to lock in place)

Hope this helps. I know Nora's wings have first issue style tab's. and they can also be worn by 86' flutter ponies.
