*waves* Hi! I'm new! Hmm... I'll just fill out this little survey-thinger, how's that? ^^

Roughly how old are you?
Roughly 22.75 (23 in April!).

Approxiamately where do you live? State, Country?
Well... I live in Lynchburg, Virginia but I go to school in Bennington, Vermont and I'm currently working an internship until the end of February in Reading, Massachusetts. ^^

Do you work or attend school? Profession or major?
I am a third-year student at Bennington College double-majoring in theatre (specifically lighting design, but I do it all really) and Japanese language.

Who are the important people in your life?
That would be (with the exception of a couple of bad apples) my entire family, my dog, and my friends at school. Also my boyfriend/lover/whatever-he-is. ^^;

Ponies:

How long have you been collecting?
Well... I've had ponies ever since I was a very small child and I was fortunate enough to have a mother who didn't believe in yard sales, so I still have all of my original ponies, so... technically... since I was three? Heh. But really, I started attempting to collect about five years ago, but was never able to really make it a full-time deal.

Which generations of ponies do you collect? G1, G2 or G3?
Boy am I a n00b... I'm assuming that G1 refers to the original ponies, G2 to the new ponies that came out a few years ago, and G3 to the most recent batch. If that assumption is correct, then I collect G1 and G3.

What made you want to collect ponies?
I've always loved MLP and a few years ago I simply decided that I wanted to try and complete my original collection.

Tell us about your collection.
Unfortunately, I can't really at the moment. My entire collection is at home in Virginia and I won't be back there until June. Can I tell you about it then? ^^;

Ahh, good, that's what I thought. I was never really very fond of them for some reason. ^^;

I've always been afraid of taking my favorite pony (Applejack) with me because I'm afraid something will happen to her. At my school we have to move completely in and out of our dorms twice a year (in at the beginning of the fall term, out at the end of fall term, in at the beginning of spring term, and out again at the end of spring term) and I live about 10-12 hours away from my school, so I have to be very frugal about what I bring with me as well. So, for those two reasons, I leave them at home, but they're in very good hands--my mom takes very good care of my ponies and Care Bears and all of my other stuff for me while I'm gone. She's a collector too (though of Hello Kitty and Betsy McCall stuff instead of ponies), so she understands how I feel about them. ^^
