Im 49, my oldest daughter is married with 2 boys, so has asked me to sell her ponies that I had stored in the shed.
former prison guard, love to cook and needlepoint. have spent the last 6 months learning the lingo, cleaning the ponies, and really just need to sell them and go on with my life... LOL I have serious medical bills to contend with!
since I took the time to learn this stuff, I have been accused of "posing" as a banned dealer.. nothing is further from the truth. I wanted to sell these the RIGHT WAY, not to stiff anyone. when I say frizzy, I MEAN IT! and I do know NEAR MINT when I see one.
pony collectors can be great, but they can be mean to new people...

Welcome to the Arena!
My hubby is an ex-prison guard. I am soo glad he got out of it, though.
Good luck with selling your ponies! Smile

Hi sminturn,

Welcome to the Arena. Good luck selling your ponies. Bills sure do have a habit of gathering quickly.

I'm concerned about what you said regarding people having accused you of not describing ponies accurately? Did that happen here or where? If you need any help at all or have any questions, please feel free to contact myself or another moderator. We'll be glad to help you out. Smile We're a friendly site and we hope you enjoy your time here.

a certain"trading post" accused me of being a banned person on my first time posting my list. seems a person shouldnt take the time to learn the lingo, or make an effort to price things fairly. some of them were expecting me to sell below postage! they got nasty about it. so, I cooled my heels, learned more, cleaned and graded all of them and even did some detangling! I found a neat hint about hair conditioning on this site though, and can't wait to try it!
about the medical bills. I have syringomyelia and chiari malformation, a rare neurological disease that means I can't work in my field anymore.
