Thought since I've been reading for months and the occasional post it was about time I introduced myself!
I'm Christaelaine (Christa) from Ontario, Canada. Soon to be 33, married to Dave for 12 years. We have a daughter Sarah who is our miracle child. Was always told I would not have children, 2 years of fertility treatments, tubal pregnancy and surgery. Difficult pregnancy with Sarah resulting in her being born when I was 26 weeks or 3 months early. First few years were wonderful and rough in ways but she is now a healthy and happy 9 year old. Sarah does have some developmental delays as a result of being born to soon.
I'm a SAHM and in December lost my Mother suddenly who had been living with us for the past 5 years due to ill health. Now dealing with a brother causing problems last thing we need on top of losing Mom. We have 5 cats, 3 long hair and 2 short hair and 2 fish tanks. Hubby has a horse and Sarah a horse and pony at MIL's horse farm.
Sarah and I both collect G3's and have since near the end of year one. We don't collect ALL of them just the ones we really like. I don't like pink don't mind a bit of pink in mane or tail but don't have one pony with a pink body. Sarah's favorite color is pink and pastels so she more then makes up for it. All in all works out rather well for us both. We each have a G1 boy a friend sent Sarah Chief who is married to her Star Catcher and myself a Wigwam who gets all my girls! LOL My favorites are the non pink babies Sarah just loves them all.
I knit, crochet, like to read and love horror and sci fi movies. My husband and I also play D&D or Beyond the Supernatural on weekends with friends.

Hello and welcome to the arena! Isn't it fun to collect with your daughter? My daughter and I love all of the ponies! She is working hard at getting some of the G1 babies!

Welcome! I recently lost my mom too, and my brother can't seem to stay out of trouble. My mom would play ponies with me for hours. She and I would have lots of fun picking them out together too. It's great to have such a fun thing to do with your daughter.  Molly(also recently joined)

Hello and welcome! I'm so sorry about your misfortunes! Your daughter really sounds fantastic!! I'm know she was worth all that worry!!! =D I crochet as well!! I've made several pony outfits and prefer to crochet rather than sew....cause I really suck at sewing....8P I'm so glad you are a part of the arena! You're are going to love it here!!!
