I have talked to three members about this and I know their opinion, but I have a major problem....


I just got a Neg, which really doesn't bother me EXCEPT...... She called me a SKINFLINT. She said I make Americans look bad and just went on and on about how I am a nonpay whenever her eBay auction makes it near impossible for me to pay unless I can find a bank that converts USD to Pounds Sterling in a "cheque". I can't even send her a PO MO.

So she opens a dispute while two members in the UK are trying to help me pay this lady without the extra 7$ she's charging for conversion of monies, and she leaves me a NEG. Only 7 days after the auctions end. Mail would not have even reached her yet if I had been able to mail right away.

I'm stupified.. This is what she wrote to me and then look at my feedback for LeighSRC on eBay. I'm tripping out b/c I don't know how to deal with this???? PLEASE HELP! *Begging*

This buyer is extremely rude and wants me to post the item to the USA for the same cost as to the Uk
which is totally impossible. She has refused to send payment via Uk Sterling cheque from a USA bank
which is clearly stated on the auction and thinks threatening me with telling ebay makes her right.

Are you willing to let me directly transfer from my bank acct to yours? There's a solution. I talked
to someone in the UK and they said it was actually the safest way to send money? Leigh

Eww nasty,please post a link to the auction so we know who to watch out for,and if you want to get your neg removed you will have to pay I think $25 and have it mediated,but nearly always the neg is removed

This is the item I won. Look at the end date. Look at today's date! I'll take the neg. I even called Keesler Federal Credit Union, whom I use and they tried to help, but the answer was NO, they do not do Money "cheques" like that. (This afternoon again)

looking at the documented facts ei time line negs her unbeliveable auction terms
i would report her and mention the highly inflated conversion rate, asking you to send cash and only waiting 8 days for payment (not long enough for international) reselling your item she cant mark you as a non payer for these reasons.
1/ you cant start a non paying bidder claim until 10 days after lsiting has finished.
2/ it then takes 2 weeks (approx for this to run its course)
3/ If she has logged a non paying bidder case againist you then answer it and agrue the toss with her.
Say payment is on its way for the item (i will pay for you if its a issue im in the uk)

sorry to say this but they have 13 negs,so i guess you could expect them to be either useless or unreasonable,now you have a neg either just forget the pony or you will have to use mediation,as far as i know there is no other way to get a neg removed even if the seller agrees to it

Wow, just look at the feedback that person leaves others. It looks like there are a lot of people that are in situations like yours. What an outragously rude person.

Samdean1 is a VERY bad seller. I was unaware that she now sold ponies!!! Take a look at this -

She is well avoided in the Sylvanian community. She does things like put a grandmother dress on an adult figure from a family that does not have grandparents, then claims it is a rare figure (adult and grandparent figure sizes are different) when it is not. I told her about it once, she told me 'Thats how my daughter used to play with them' and wouldn't revise the listing. Luckily a lot of people aren't fooled by her 'rare' SF auctions.

She is also very nasty, as you have found out. If its OK, I would say to put her on the blacklist in the pony community too, as she now sells ponies. I'm sorry she treated you like this, Sapphire - but I urge everyone else to please, NEVER buy from this seller, as you will probably get burnt.

Id report her. Shes wrong on so many levels its not funny. Id hope ebay does something about it so that she doesnt do this again...even if you still have your neg:/
