for that buyer, tell her to send you a scan of the MO recept/stub, there's usually a # you can call to find out if it's been cashed.

If she says she can't scan it for some reason, have her call it herself. If it's been cashed, she can find out where, and she can get a copy of the signed MO. If it hasn't been cashed, then maybe she didn't send it or it got lost.

all I can say for the seller you're trying to deal with, is try the same things with her; send a copy of the recept/stub,see if there's a number on it you can call to see if it's been cashed, remind the seller that you sent it international,and it may take more time, and that she has till 60 days after the auction ended to claim it, she doesn't have to do it right away.

In both cases, if it can't be settled, before you leave neg.feedback, take it up with squaretrade, because if you start with squaretrade before leaving feedback, it makes it clear you are doing everything you can to solve the problem.

Thanks!!! I think that both transactions will turn out fine. I know I sent her the money. So I know I'm honest. Also, the PostMaster told me to wait at least one more week before ending the Alert. The mail has been running really slow since Katrina.. blah blah... and I am fair, so I told the girl I would wait... as long as we keep an adult mind and not get snippy. If I lose out on the first, that will suck, but I'm honest and she will know it too. It's good to know what you told me though. At least others will know I am honest too. Smile

Yes, yes the money order that mysteriously never arrived. If she truly sent the money order she would have the receipt portion and that would prove it hadn't been cashed. Don't send the pony if you haven't received payment. If she leaves you negative feedback you could appeal it and I could help you do so. I sell on Ebay too and this is one of the unfortunately realities of dealing on Ebay.

I agree with SealightDancer. Tell her to trace the MO and she'll see that it wasn't cashed which means you didn't recieve it. It is the buyers responsability to make sure they payment arrives to the seller.

As for the seller who filed a NPB it was a bit annoying of her to do it after you just emailed to tell her it was on the way but they don't affect your account as long as they're cancelled when payment arrives. I usually wait until I have no communication or a few weeks but I can see that if someone was selling a lot of items it would be easier just to go ahead and file as there's so many NPB's lately.
