So I do 90% of my trades on LiveJournal, prolly more. I have a spare Hamilton Collection Glory and offered her for sale or trade. Originally I asked for too much money (I was away from home and misjudged the price) and she deleted her comment. I changed the price and we started conversing through e-mail. We agreed on four birthstone Ponies. My original LJ post was in late January. She was busy for awhile with a LS Pinkie Pie raffle, and really didn't have Ponies til March for me. Then she disappeared, not answering my e-mails. I FINALLY made a post in the MLP comm asking for a collector by her first name and was put back in contact with her in May. She said she'd get them to me shortly. My past two follow-up e-mails (one of which she did reply to) got automatic gmail replies saying she has a family emergency.

Now there's no loss on my side, as she was to send first and I still have the spare porcelain, but I'm scared that when I decide to offer it to someone else she'll come back into play and I'll be in trouble. Any advice? @__@

I'd hold on to it for a bit longer and wait on her. If you've gotten a reply saying that there was a family emergency, I think it's best to give her a bit more time than you'd normally give someone to complete a trade. Depending on what the emergency was, she may still not be able to think about a pony trade right now, even if she's still interested.

Yeah, but I got two of them and one she replied to anyways. Plus her LJ is locked so I can't check it. One more month I'd wager.

I'm sure she'll let you know when things clear up Is it someone on the Arena as well? Maybe you could send her a PM and ask her about it.

I dun THINK so, at least not to my knowledge. Did anyone hold a Liscensing Show Pinkie Pie raffle here, too? She's changed her e-mail address during this time, and while I'm not getting scammer vibes, it's just wearing on me. And I'd really like to move this thing, for the longest time all that I could find are the Birthstones and I didn't know which she got me so I couldn't buy any. *weep* I've been working on it since January, so...

I think someone did run a raffle like that which is why I asked. Maybe someone else here knows her?

Hehe, I don't think my fiance would be too happy about ponies at the wedding, but I'm trying to talk him into letting me eventually get a Satin n' Lace to display near the guestbook or something. (If I can't win her, Pony Bride or Bride Wysteria could work in a pinch!) So I don't know if that will even happen yet, but I can't complain too much...we're going to Disney World for our honeymoon and I get to go to the Once Upon a Toy store!

I already have Bride Wysteria and Pony Bride, which is why I suggested them as possibilities...heh, if I can't get what I want, I'll use what I have! Hopefully I can eventually get Satin n' Lace too. My fiance wanted me to get Tux n' Tails with her if I was going to get her, but I told him how much Tux usually goes for and he reconsidered

Funny you should mention that - my fiance (reluctantly!) said I could put a pony out for our wedding (17 days!), but balked at the price of Satin 'n Lace and Tux 'n Tails, even if they've been on my want list for something like 15 years... So I'm just going to use Wysteria - I'm too lazy to dig out Pony Bride!
