Oh wow!!! I love the new ponies, I cant wait to find them in my area!!

I found out some interesting news about the Family Dollar today. It's basically the reason why some of us have gone to many different Family Dollars only to find them at one store if we are lucky to find them at all. After calling the other three Family Dollars in my area, I was informed by one of the stores that their shipments are completely random. In other words, they don't know what they get with each shipment and it can range from porcleain figurines to laundry detergent. They don't order specific things and they don't even recieve shipment lists. So, if they get the ponies they won't know when. However, I think that all Family Dollar stores will eventually get them because all four of the ones near me had peachie keen and autumn crisp, which I think were part of the previous FD four.

But anyways, one of the stores had two sets of each of the four ponies(eight ponies total). I was only able to buy four ponies because I had thirteen dollars on me( they are three dollars each). But the point is, I'm trying to decide which one to keep and I will give the other three away to people and if possible, I might be able to go back in a few days to get the other four to give to people as well if they are still there.

Haha. I am right there with you. Hasbro is great and all, but that's giving them a little too much credit. ^_^

I checked at the FD today, no new ponies. Ah well, I'll stop in some other time to see if they are by chance in.

I don't think we'll be seeing a brown pony anytime soon (not chocolate brown, anyway), since it might look too much like it was made out of poo.

ROFLMAO!!!!! Poo, LMAO! no seriously, brown would probably be too close to the real thing & I think Hasbro is thinking that the MLP line is more Fantasy. For example, the cutie marks, the glitter, the tinsel in the hair & so on... Just out of curiousity was there a brown MLP in the G1 line? (except of course the large Original MY Pretty Pony) I think the closest to brown we may ever get is that pony in the Easter Basket... Wish-a-whirl? Kind of tan & has dark blue hair, I think that is her name.

Butterscotch is probably the closest to a real horse...she's palomino-colored.

If you call FD to ask if they have the ponies make sure to specify the names of the new ones -- one store in PA told me they had the new ones but they were the previous four -- the manager didn't even know there were new FD exclusives coming.

Oh well, my kids didn't have the other four anyway.
