Not that it matters much now anyway, but my husband just shipped something global priority, because the guy wanted it that way, and they did indeed put a second number on it. If you have the customs number AND another number, as in the one for priority, why wouldn't that provide adequate information? Both numbers are scanned, and the priority has to be trackable in some form for them to be able to say it was indeed priority.
I have a couple of things going overseas, so I have to take all this into account, too. It totally stinks that a few bad apples ruined it for EVERYONE. I'll take the chance on this transaction, but I think for future ones, I'll have to look into the trackable overseas...
I so miss the easy eBay, back when all it was for was selling your junk!
