I'm looking for an opinion on sweet clover variants. I have two sweet clovers who are very different in color. Any idea where the darker one is from?



the pony on the left was purchased from shelti a few days ago. It's my understanding that this is what sweet clover generally looks like (hair fading problem notwithstanding), and what i was expecting when i purchased the pony on the right from e-bay a few months ago.

They both lack patent pending on their feet. Both are made in China.



but the darker one is really really DARK! almost the same color as twilight.

I have both versions as well and have been wondering about them, too. The lighter version is peach and the darker version is pink. I know it doesn't have to do with fading, though.

I think the darker pink version typically comes from the UK, while the pale peach version comes from Germany. Maybe someone who lives in either country can verify this?

i do have both - both from our local trade market ... the light version was part of my childhoods pony collection ...

The lighter version was only sold in Germany and the darker version was sold in other European countries

is one rarer than the other?

maybe the darker version ... as she´s hard to find at ebay ... but i´m not sure.

I have both and can confirm the pink-bodied one is from the UK, and the peach one is the German version.
