I'm quite curious if anyone else has experienced or took notice this with their ponies. While looking through some of my G3's I noticed that on some of the ponies that have glued on heads and were white, they appeared to have a slight yellowing around the neck area where the glue was placed. Luckily, the rest of their bodies seem decently white. But it's just a ring of yellow that's started. Has anyone else had this happen to their white G3s? Is there anything that might help to fade/prevent the discoloring? :dontgetit:

I understand that most white ponies will fade/change color eventually...but it really annoys me to see this happen to G3's so soon. >_< Well, this is another reason why I'm glad Hasbro finally decided to not stick that awful glue on them... Look Round

My baby honoloo loo is the same, the more dusty she gets the darker stained it seems to get too.

I don't have any white ponies yet for my herd only has 4 ponies in it for alittle. But I would be so disappointed if that ever happened to my ponies Hug

*runs off to check all her white ponies*
I have noticed it turning yellow but I do have a baby g1 that is white and it is happening to her. I would suggest using Goof Off as well to remove the excess glue and see if that helps at all, maybe try it with just a q-tip so you don't get the rest of the pony soaked in it as well.

I've got a white pony that's doing the same thing. I'm pretty sure she's a FlutterButter, but don't quote me on that. She is in Minty pose though. The odd thing is that she was prepped for customizing so all of the neck glue was removed, and she still is getting that ring at her seam. I don't get it. It's not that bad for me as a customizer, I can just dye her or sculpt over it. But I can imagine it being pretty sucky for a collector. Sad

Not this particular problem...but my Frilly Frocks has a brown spot on her bum and one on her head. Not sure what affliction it is...but it wasn't there only a week or two ago. Huh

Okay, I'll think I'll try and find some of that Goof-Off stuff. Smile Does anyone happen to know what section and where I can find it at? Wal-Mart perhaps? I suppose anything's worth a shot.

That is strange. Sad Poor Frilly! My G3 Citrus Sweetheart has a tiny purple dot under her chin. I don't remember it being there before and it's rather odd looking. :dontgetit: I thought maybe it was smooze or ingrained dirt...but it's purple instead of black...It isn't paint either because it's actually inside the plastic. Really quite odd.

I am not sure where in WalMart it is but I know you can get it at Home Dept near the paint supplies or the cleaning supplies.

Noooo! I just got my first white pony. I'll have to keep an eye on her.

What kind of Goof-Off do you use MLPMom? The type I bought doesn't seem to do anything for removing paint or marks, etc.

Oh my goodness i get weird marks appearing all the time too Fyregryphoness, my star catcher has suddenly gotten two matching pink highlighter looking marks on her tummy! and now her and honolooloo are going a creamy colour. Not happy!

Getting any dust on my whities causes really tough marks too.
EDIT: Also there heads are now different to their bodies, they feel rough to touch not smooth like when they came out of their box. Bodies have remained the same though. Huh

The kind I have is in a little metal tin, I think it is red with a yellow sprout like thing, it smells a lot like paint thinner, you really need to be in a well venilated (sp?) area when using it.
