So I'm a member of a paid to click site that has a fantastic reputation. They send emails every day, you click them and get paid for it. It's the best I can do for extra spending money at the moment. So after I got to $10 on the site, I requested payout.

I recieved the payment on paypal this morning, but it says that I need to accept the payment. My paypal account isn't verified just for the reason that I just turned 19 and don't have a bank account. In order to accept this payment, it says my account needs to be verified.

So I have this $10 that I worked for just sitting in my damn paypal account that I can't do anything with. I've been paid from other websites with no problem, but for some reason this payment, I can't get.

Gah... I'm so frustrated.

Edit: I just found out why I have to accept it. The address that's it comes from is "unconfirmed" because it's in Taiwan and according to Paypal "Most non-U.S. addresses cannot be confirmed at this time because many international credit card platforms do not support methods to do so."

Blah!

You're tellin' me. Poke Tounge

I have this odd feeling that my boyfriend is going to be a bit frustrated when he gets online as well. He cashed out from the site last night, as well and he's in the same situation I am mostly.

Guess what! I was just getting ready to start a thread about paypal and found yours! I was paid 2 sums of money, and they were credited to my paypal account. Then, when I transferred them to my bank account, paypal said that the transaction was completed (it takes a couple of days), so I called my bank. They told me that paypal has DEBITED my account the amounts instead of CREDITING it!!! ARGH! I have people waiting for shipments and I can't send them out until I get that money!!! AND the debit created 2 overdrafts! Now I have fees to deal with. The best part? When I called paypal, the rep said that there wasn't really anything she could do except make notes until I sent them a bank statement!!! Ugh! Sorry for the rant, but that's what this forum's for, right? Happy

Wow..

Have you tried phoning customer service? If Paypal is *taking* money that belongs to you, you need to go into action..not just run around in circles (though I hear that can sometimes calm down some nerves:P). Just have all applicable info on hand.

I've tried calling customer service, but you can't use Paypal customer service unless you have a verified account (their automated system tells you to enter the last four digits of the bank account or credit card associated with your account). If you don't have either of those associated with your account, you can't continue through to talk to someone.

I emailed them a few minutes ago to ask them about it, because now it's saying something completely different. It's saying that I have to be verified to accept the payment because "PayPal requires that accounts receiving payments from our PayPal Website Payments and Instant Purchase for Auctions features be Verified."

The thing is though, it's not through Paypal Website Payments or Instant Purchase for Auctions, so I should be able to get the payment just fine.

If this doesn't work, I know a local bank that doesn't require a minimum balance or charge monthly service charges, so I guess I'll go open an account with them just so I don't have to deal with this on Paypal again. It'll probably help when I get organized and start selling off extra toys that I've been meaning to sell for months, too.

I'm about to pull my hair out! Poke Tounge
