PostPosted: 0    Post subject: LadyDayDreamer - happily resolved! :)

Edit: All has been sorted out! Smile

After all the good things I've heard about LadyDayDreamer and her rehairing tools, I am so dissapointed! I bought two tools from her on ebay way back on September 17th. I paid immediately through paypal. I never heard from her so I assumed my order was on the way. After several weeks, I became worried when I could not get any response from her, so I posted on the customs board to see how long other people waited for their tools. LadyDayDreamer posted requesting I send her the purchase info from e-bay and she would check on my order, which I did, but got no response. Most people had to wait a couple weeks for their tools so I waited patiently. Still nothing - no e-mails, updates or anything. Again, I tried to get ahold of LadyDayDreamer through e-bay as well as the address on her website to find out the status of my order. No response. PMed her here and she said she'd check her stamps.com account. Waited several more weeks - no response. PMed her again - this time she said she'd send a tool, informed her I ordered TWO... anyways, it goes on like this and it is now November and I've recieved nothing but a few excuses! I filed a dispute with e-bay and paypal, which LadyDayDreamer has not replied to. By Friday I will be escalating it to a claim. Anyone have any advice?? I really need my money back - I was hoping to use these tools to make customs to sell as extra income, but as it turns out I am just losing money instead. Sad Big Grin

I have in fact been answering you and your tools have been mailed out if the mail is running slow I can not help that I have all my ebay orders mailed out and I have all my website orders mailed out... If they are not to you by this Friday Plats next payday I'll mail another set out.. Sometimes these do take a little longer to mail out due to having to make them it's not like I snap my fingers and they appear that is alot that goes into making them... Time pain and patients go into them...

Two months is a rediculously long time to wait. I am not about to wait around for a 3rd set of tools supposedly sent out if these don't make it. If you had really sent my package(s) - then why would you be willing to send out another set each time I remind you - that would be such a waste! If items were truely not reaching me, any intelligent person would do things such as confirm that the address is correct, add insurance, a signature, something rather than just waste 6 tools sending them out every few weeks. That makes no sense. And as far as having to make the tools - please do not advertize items that you do not have!! I do not want a promise of more tools that I never recieve and waste months waiting for. I want my money back.

LDD--can you send proof that you mailed them out? Do you have a reciept you can take a picture of? When exactly was the date you sent the first set off, and how was it sent?

the first set was sent through Stamps.com and my records from when it was sent has been removed because I clear them at the end of the month. The second was sent through just the post office to make sure the problem was not with stamps.com postage.. I have never had this much trouble and sense I have moved to Conway SC where I live now more offten than not I am having to resend items because my local postoffice can't seem to do what they get paid for...

Editing to add: Look how long I have been making these and selling these and look how long I have been part of this comunity why in the world would I want to mess things up now..

Dottidal Give it till friday if they are not there please pm me again and I'll just refund you through paypal I am at the point that I am about to stop selling these tools.. I don't really make anything off them and I had enjoyed making them but this ....

Just let me know if you do not get them by then.

looks like she's willing to give you a refund.
i wouldn't really worry about it.
i know LDD has been really busy, and she got some paperwork messed up and only recently sent out some ponies she was supposed to send me a while ago. she responds everytime in my case..
sometimes things come up, and to LDD's defense:

i am currently in the process of having a package be missing and i have offered to replce the items for the person who traded with me.
i happen to have an extra pony of the one sent to her, and she seems to think thats a fine idea.
it's not a waste, i think she's just trying to be nice.

I can vouch for LDD, I know the PO has been screwing up my packages lately and I have had to go to UPS. I would give it till friday and if the package doesnt show up it looks like she will refund you. RL does get in the way of things and it looks like LDD is/has been trying to fix things

The US postal service seems to be quite screwy right now. I thought I was the only one having problems receiving packages lately, but as I read this I guess not! My problem was figured out by my bf and a clever seller. Check this out: the PO had changed my street spelling from OSBORN to OSBORNE and had neglected to tell me. I've been waiting on yet another eBay seller from Sept, only to find the package had been returned to them because of that dumb spelling change. I had a bunch of emails from people who said the PO said "my address wasn't recognized by the usps." I had to go and change my online accounts all for that silly little e. Back on topic, it seems LDD is trying to work with you here so I hope things turn out for you.

I ordered from her too and I'm patiently waiting on mine, I know how slow the post office can be, especially if it's international. I'm just waiting for mine to get caught in customs, cause I've had DOLLS stopped by customs! LOL! So just be patient, I've seen things appear SIX MONTHS down the road. The post office can be really horrible unfortunatly!

And one more thing, if, after all this, she refunds you and the sets appear in the mail soon later, will you repay her since you did get your stuff? Be only right... she can't control the slowness of the post office. I hope you get your tools.

I think the big issue here is communication....

I aggree with sweetblue - communication has been the biggest issue!! Had I not known where to find LadyDayDreamer here on the board, I would have never been able to get in touch as she does not answer her e-bay messages. Plus, timely updates on the status of my order, or even that it had been recieved or sent would have been helpful! I will wait till Friday as I said, but it's funny that this is the second package to be lost or slow, and this is not an international order. Anyhow, of course if I were to recieve the package after getting a refund, I would definately either send the product back or pay for the items, it is only fair.

*EDIT*
Just thought I better add, that on Friday if I haven't recieved the tools, I will try and PM you as quickly as possible, but that is the final day to escalate the dispute to a claim, so if I cannot reach you to do the refund, I will have to do the claim because otherwise the case will be closed and for all I know you could choose not to refund me and I would be screwed. I appologise but finances are tight and not knowing you personally it's hard to tell if I'm being messed with or not. I'm hoping for the best, I hate to make such a big issue of this.

*EDIT*
Yikes! I just checked my e-mail and this is the message from paypal:

Your dispute for the payment you sent to (LadyDayDreamer) will automatically
close on Nov 10, 2006.

We will assume that the dispute is resolved and will automatically close it
unless you log in to the Resolution Center and escalate it to a PayPal
claim before Nov 10, 2006.

By escalating to a claim, you would be asking PayPal to review the case and
decide the outcome. Keep in mind that a closed dispute cannot be reopened
or escalated to a PayPal claim.

Thank you,

PayPal

So, apparently I have to escalate it to a claim by tomorrow - not friday! I assumed I had until midnight Friday but I guess it's Thursday.

Do what you see fit I told you I would refund if it was not there by friday.. I have never messed with anyone and why would I start with you.. And I have stated I would make it right if they are not there by friday.. I don't mean to get mean spirited here but I have been contacting you through the pms here on the arena and I have those... I have sent out and it should have been there I am going to pm you tonight with the address these have been being mailed out to.. From South Carolina to Californa should not take this long.. I am losing money on this as well sending out multiple packages..

Is it now 2 or 3 packages that have not arrived?
If it's 2 I can kind of understand... but if it's three I'd be questioning the Postie's reputation.

And me as well. LDD is a long time member of the comunity and has never been anything but a good seller and nice person.
I can understand 1 package going missing.
2 going missing would be a stretch to believe but possible. 3 I would seriously question that. I recently bought LDD tool and I received it within 3 days from when I bought it.

my 2 cents: I have had priority mail take up to 3 weeks to arrive and have had 1st class mail take over 2 weeks. i mailed my sister a package and she harassed me every damn day till it arrived over 2 weeks later. The package was going from florida to New York. I could of driven home and given her the damn items at that rate

i have also had items go missing - usually all international though
