ditto, my hubby would kill me for he thinks all the playsets the kids have take up too much space and i can see him just saying $50 to get 3 ponies and you already ahve the old castle, you are getting sick with the collecting....he would declare me crazy.... atleast tehy are not unicorns... so I doubt I get it..I would ratehr take the $50 and try to get a different grail

Gypsyunicorn - that totally got me thinking...can you imagine if the castle had come with 3 unicorns??? OMG...then I would have been forced to get it.

I agree that they do kind of look like fakies. It all just seems a bit thrown together with them. I'm not surprised to see the castle re-released with ponies, but I can't help but wonder if maybe the castle wasn't selling well and they whipped up something real quick to get them moving off the shelves. I haven't been collecting long enough to know what it was like with other larger playsets, but it seems like the price has dropped pretty quickly on the castle. Did it start out at $59 or $69? I can't remember...

the other playsets have been known to get bonus stuff, lots of mlp stuff does
People who just start collecting do not have the old castle so this is good to sell again but for us who have been collecting g3 from day 1 it is not good... I have bought almost every playset I could get my hands on so I just no longer have g3 playset room... I would rather take the $50 and put it towards a g1 grail personally,plus I like breathing(I doubt my hubby would let me do that if I bought this) and I could not blame him either

Well, I'm sure glad I didn't ask for the castle for my birthday. I'm kind of getting used to the playset exclusive routine after all that happened with Butterfly Island. Whee, just in time for Christmas, too!

Of course, what if it comes with cuter bonus ponies later? I'm not sure if this should even go on my Christmas list...especially since my big pony request is a Frilly Frocks, and that's kind of giant too.

why oh why did I not wait to buy it sigh I got hooked with that hasbro online sale an now I can not return it and get this one sigh....

The castle is 49.99 at Target I think Minus the ponies though. I just read an article that Walmart is cutting the prices of toys and other items wouldn't it be great if they would do that for those? Wonder if Khol's or other stores will get the bonous pony sets or is it Walmart's exclusive?

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to buy the castle after all! I wasn't going to but I REALLY want that frog pony! I haven't seen it around here yet. All the WM's have TONS of the castle without the ponies. They are everywhere in the store! Like five different places.

Yeah, they're everywhere here too....except Wal-Mart thus far, so I'm hoping these sets show up here!
