I'm with you RainbowSplash - I bought it as a gift to myself (was also in a pony dryspell and needed something new)... hopefully someone will sell them off at some point.

I knew Hasbro was going to do this... but why Walmart? *bangs head repeatedly*
I really would like the froggy one! I'm glad I waited to get the castle.

Mooey (my hubby - I call him Mooey, lol) said that I can get it for Christmas. This is precisely why I didn't get it already! Woot!

| I found the set today at Walmart in VA. I'm going to take back my castle and exchange it for that one and get my $10 back since this one is cheaper. |
So, it's out at some stores already? And for the sale price too? I wish my stores would put them out early. Black Friday shopping is such a pain!

Our Walmart had them - but they were way up on a top shelf - in the sports section - there were none in the pony section...hmm, I'll have to go check and see if they are for sale yet. Would be nicer for me if Zellers got the special ones (gotta love bf's job ) - but that's still a lot to have to pay for another castle.

Mods: I'm sorry for creating a new topic. Since that other topic is already several pages long and the title isn't clear, I thought it might be easier for people to find the new photos if I created a new one.
I found it today, and since the original photos aren't as clear as they could be, I took some of my own. Their hair is terrible! Worst ponyhair I've seen in a while.
A few details for all you pony hunters and pony curious people:
I found these on an endcap in Walmart(evil, evil Walmart). They were $49.93, and there were several of them. I had no problem when I checked out. No recall notices of any kind. I'm in the Los Angeles area which is odd since the Walmarts here never stock anything. I'm still looking for the Christmas Minty set, and the Walmart where I purchased this castle still has some Friendship Ball ponies out.
There is no mention of any names for any of the ponies on the box, and I even opened the instructions to see if they named them there. They are mentioned on the inventory list on the instructions, but they are not named. They're just called "3 My Little Pony Figures". Sorry guys, no names for them. This makes me think they are true bonus ponies, and will probably not be released anywhere else. Of course Hasbro could decide to release any pony 15 different times if it wants to, but these guys have pretty bad hair and no names which is probably not a good idea if they're going to be in the next group of merchandise.
They all have turning heads as all CP ponies do. The set does not come with a brush which is kind of a problem since their hair is so terrible.

That white pony looks like her symbol got printed on the wrong side! Poor thing! So does the yellow one, but it's not quite as obvious.
I wonder what their names will be. Why do I want to call the froggy one Hopper? She will be Leaper's mom as soon as I get her!

$50 bucks isn't so bad, really. Gotta figure that you spend about $5 each for a single pony separately, so if you get the bonus set, the actual castle itself is only costing you about $35.
At least, that's how I'm going to justify it to my husband.
"I really only spent $35 on the castle, it used to be $60."
*evil grin*

HEY!
Royalty-themed symbols on ponies that come with a castle???
Could we possibly be looking at the ROYALS OF PONYVILLE???
QUEEN - crown on cushion symbol
PRINCESS - damsel-hat symbol
PRINCE - frog-prince symbol (or KING, if you wanna go Shrekie!)
WOOOT! The royal family has arrived!!! ^_^
Thank you, Goddess of Peep!!!
