I have 2 Pretty Beats, each with a different hair colour. Anyone know the story behind her?

Purple Hair

Blue Hair

Thanks!

Daizy

Hmmm I dont know the story behind them (ie where each one comes from etc) but yes the hair colour differences are a recognised variant Big Grin

Both versions were sold in Europe (thought the purple one is more common here) and I think Australia, while the Us and Canada got only the blue one.

Did you notice the designs on them are slightly different too? Near the back, it's almost like the designs have been turned a bit. Unless it's just the angle of the pony.

That is the purple hair version Pretty Beat. Smile She is prettier than the blue one in my opinion! Happy I only own the purple one. Poke Tounge

MD - you're right! That big orange triangle near her rump - in the top one it's pointing more towards her stomache, while the second one - it's pointing down her let. Wow.

The triangles do look darker on the purple one than the blue one. And I think the Purple version is a darker purple than the blue version. I own the purple hair version and she seems darker to me than the pictures of the blue haired one that I've seen. *makes note to get a blue-haired Pretty Beat* Poke Tounge

I had my childhood one with purple hair from the US. Maybe it was a fluke, but I don't think she was just a euro version. Though the blue haired one does seem to be more common here.

Oh, I forgot to mention that there are two distinct body colours for the purple haired one. One is a darker, more maroon colour, and the other is a more vibrant one, that I think is the same as on the blue hair.
