Are you really an archer? How did you pick your screen name?...

Yep! I love archery! My now husband caught me looking at his bow one hunting season and asked if I was interested in learning how to shoot. He bought me a PSE Nova (brand and style) bow for christmas, got me sighted in, and on January 2nd I began shooting in a local league.

I have several trophy plaques on the wall. All of the people, mostly men, that I shot with were so friendly and helpful. There was competition yes, but I never once was made to feel stupid, everyone was so helpful and encouraging and it really helped my self esteem.

If you've ever been interested in archery then you really should try it, it's fun and certainly not just a guys sport! That's how I got my screen name, because I had joined the pony boards at the same time that I was learning and shooting in the league.

How long have you been collecting ponies for? Seriously since 2000, that's when I discovered ebay and the doors to the pony world were blown wide open! I had no idea there were so many ponies!

Is your family supportive of your addiction? they tolerate it. My Grandpa was kind of getting into it, not the ponies, but he loved bringing in packages for me (when I lived with him).

Who was your first pony, ever? Cotton Candy. ) I was in 3rd grade.

What was your first thought when you got her? It was funny, I really wanted a pony, but being such an analytical child I needed the most realistic looking pony. Her symbol made her look like an Appaloosa (sp?) and that's why I got her, even though I hated pink! lol! Snuzzle was a very close second.

Did you rip her open or admire her inside her packaging? ripped her open and promptly dropped her on the greasy floor of the machine shop that we were in at the time... I think there were a few tears. (

Who was your most recent pony aquisition? Last package, last week Cascade and mommy Sunbrite. Also in the package was a sea pony float and two red rooster clip ons.

Do you prefer to buy and sell ponies on eBay or via private transactions? Why? I flip flop on that. Ebay is much quicker for buying, as some private sales can get dragged on for weeks, and once I find a pony I want to finish the deal and get her in my herd. I prefer to sell on ebay. I love trading tho because it's the most cost effective!

How did you feel when you first learned there were a lot of pony fanatics just like you lurking about in the world? releaved! It's still hard to believe, but it's fun telling family and friends about the people in all of the different countries that I've dealt with.

How did you find out about the My Little Pony message boards? I found the MLPTP around the same time I got on ebay. I did a general search for My Little Pony and was checking out the different sites.

Who's your favorite pony? ummmm... oh gosh that's a hard one. I love so many of them! G1, Nightglider was always very special since I got her new when I was little. G2, I like the winged unicorns and Seabreeze. G3, Always and Forever, look at her symbol!

Do you collect variants? Why or why not? if I come across one, but I don't hunt them down. I am concentrating on finishing the US & UK collections first, and that's slowed down since I'm trying to find the htf mail orders.

You are planning a Wisconsin area pony meet! When is it? June 11th.

What are some of the fun things you plan on doing there? well I'll have pony videos on non-stop. A potluck for constant munching. We've been trying to think up some games, and we do have a volleyball net. I'll have artsy stuff out to draw, color and paint ponies.

Why is it imperative that people let you know they are coming? So that I can send directions, and it's nice to know how many to expect. I was looking forward to about 30 people, but so far only 3 have responded... (

Have you ever hosted a pony meet before? Not by myself. Last year 4 of us got together at the home of littlepeaches, her parents place. There were only 4 of us but we had a great time! I traded the first set of tiny tins for pearly baby Moondancer! *snuggles her and pearly Surprise, both from littlepeaches*

Been to one? just last year.

What was it like? It was great! We traded and talked, played some games, then I took everyone to Kewaunee to see lake Michigan and go to Pamida where we scored some ponies.

What is the strangest pony item you own? I'm having a hard time defining "strange" since I've been around all my things for so long that they're all just, well my things! A unique item I have is this ceramic pony. It's over a foot tall and it's painted to look like a stuffed animal. A friend of my Grandpa's dropped it off by him for me, and they were so proud that they'd found me a MLP item! lookround It was sweet and it is cute so it's in my pony room.

What are your thoughts on G3 rereleases? the same pony, over and over... yawn. Different poses is one thing, but I don't even bother buying the various accessory sets when it's a repeated pony, since I don't collect accessories.

What are your thoughts on opening MOC G1s? at this point, I wouldn't. I'd sell them and get a minty version of that pony loose. I'm not a MOC collector anyways, heck I tore open all of my G2's, and I only have a handful of MOC G3's (euro Snowflake and Sweet Summertime, all the easter ponies, and a set of valentine ponies).

What pony has been with you through thick and thin? Cotton Candy! She's always there.

Who found out about your pony collection and you wish they hadn't? maybe a few at work, I get the rolling of the eyes and the too loud "Oh My God!". This one chick that they hired and fired right away, I told her about them... she looked at me like I was completely nuts, but then in the next breath she's telling me about all these ceramic pigs in her house. Uh-huh. Stones, glass houses, sound familiar? sleepy

What is your profession? I'm a mill rat! You know when you go to the doctor and they give you those little paper blankets to drape over your lap, yep, I make those!

Do you like it? Why or why not? hate it, but I need the money and it sure beats minimum wage. It's boring and dirty and boring! No mental stimulation at all.

Honestly now. You're really a closet Vikings fan, aren't you? angry *pulls on GREEN AND GOLD everything!* My dad lives on the edge of the twin cities and he's a Packers fan! Of course he's a born and bred WI boy. The vikes don't have any catchy songs, and we've got like 30 or so of them!
