“First time for everything”

Ace took the keys out of his soccer bag, and stuck them into the lock. Turning it, he opened his door and flipped on the light. He took a step into his room, and froze, staring at the bed.
“Hey you,” Starlight whispered seductively.
“St-Starlight?!” Ace gulped, hardly believing his eyes....


Starlight had been very adamant about her feelings towards the limits of their relationships. Laying on beds without clothes on was definitely a no-no. Then again, this was Ace’s dream come true. What was he waiting for.
“Be right there babe,” Ace cooed, dropping his soccer bag and removing his shin guards hurriedly. He flopped onto the bed and crawled over to Starlight, slipping under the covers. They shared a passionate kiss, and Starlight started to move closer to Ace. Pulling back, Ace asked, “Are you sure you want this Starlight?”
Nodding, Starlight smiled and pulled Ace close.

An hour later, The two suddenly heard footsteps and sprang apart.
“Hi dear! How’d your soccer game go?” Ace’s mom’s voice asked.
“Uh… good… we uh… won…” He replied through the door, panting a little.
“That’s great honey, I have your laundry here, if I could just-“
“NO! I mean, uh… Just leave it there,” Ace said, jumping off the bed and holding the door shut, turning red.
“Well, um, ok sweetie,” Ace’s mom replied, uncertainly. Boys are so strange….
Grinning, Ace turned back to Starlight. “So, anyone home at your place?”
“Funny,” Starlight answered, pulling Ace out the door.

Over the next few days, Ace and Starlight couldn’t keep their hooves off each other, during school, after school, at night. Their friends grew increasingly confused until finally, Teddy asked them what the hell was going on a week later in the Ice Cream parlor. Ace and Starlight looked at each other and smiled.
“You don’t wanna know bud,” said Ace.
“Oh spill,” demanded Melody.
“Well, okay…” replied Starlight, grinning sheepishly, elbowing Ace.
“We uh…. Shdlhufdhwe.”
“What?” asked Patch loudly, as the group craned their necks in toward the couple.
“I said, we had SEX!” Ace yelled, exasperated.
“Shhh, keep it down. We said we’d tell them, not the world!” scolded Starlight.
“Y-you what?” asked Clover.
“Sex.” Starlight whispered, pleased with the effect that single word had.
Sweetheart turned red, Bon Bon giggles nervously. Teddy’s eyes almost popped out of his head, and Lancer’s mouth hung open. Suddenly, Teddy started patting Ace on the back.
“About time, too!” he yelled.
“Teddy! We’re 15! Our bodies aren’t even fully ready to produce children, psychologically speaking.” Clover reprimanded him, shooting him a glance.
“Besides,” added Sweetheart, “Sex before marriage is… dirty.” She turned and even darker shade of red.
“Aww, come on, we all knew it would happen sometime soon, with those two making lovey face at each other all the time!” Teddy shot back.
“Oh yeah, who’s next?” asked Ace.
The challenge hung in the air as everyone took the time to register what it meant. They all looked around nervously.
“Yeah, who’s next?” asked Starlight, putting her hoof on Ace’s leg, everyone’s eyes following.
