My ex-step-daughter used to collect the G2 my little ponies. Because they looked so anorexic and awkward next to my beautiful, plump G1's, we called them the "teenagers" and they filled an important niche in Ponyland as babysitters for the G1 babies.

At the time, I didn't know any of their names, and neither did she, so we called them by whatever symbol was on their little flanks. One pony in particular, however, got a special name. I'm still not sure which G2 she is, but she was a bright neon pink with yellow-gold hair. Her forelock stood straight up like bangs from the 80s, and she looked both extremely excited to be there and profoundly vapid. We called her "Mitzi" because it seemed to fit her overzealous cheerleader personality. My step daughter, however, forget Mitzi's name a lot (she was only 4) so referred to her by her symbol -- grapes -- only she didn't just call her Grape. She called her "Grape Butt". Most of the G2 ponies spent a lot of time as "Something-Butt"..."Butterfly Butt" or "Flower Butt". Only Mitzi kept a first name.

Poor little Mitzi became known throughout Ponyland as Mitzi Grape-Butt (to which other adults, upon hearing Mitzi's full name, always looked confused and said "Mitzi Great butt?). Despite her unfortunate name, however, she remained my step-daughter's favourite.
