I'm not sure; I kinda like where I'm at.

Do you collect anything other than ponies?
Oh yes. I collect Barbies, other vintage fashion dolls, Monopoly games, retro kitchenware, among other things.

Who was your first pony, EVER? How did you get it? How old were you?
My first pony was twinkle eye Locket, and I think I was 4 when I got her.

What generation(s) do you primarily collect?
Primarily G1, but I have a lot of G3 (and G2 is growing on me).

Who is your favorite pony and why?
My favorite pony is Sparkler the unicorn. I love the hue of her blue glitter symbol and how the vibrant red of her mane is shocking compared to how muted her other coloring is.

Who is your favorite "Nirvana?"
Because of my love for the US release, Italian Collector's Pose Sparkler is my favorite Nirvana. I'll probably never feel right dropping the cash to buy her, so I plan on making a custom sometime in the near future.

Who is your least favorite pony and why?
I really dislike G3 Sunnydaze. She's always the one that I find at thrift stores, and I don't really care for her colors.

What are your thoughts on.....
- G1s? Love them! Collecting them is something that I consider only mine in my family. Every other collection I have I share with one of my parents.
- G2s? Appreciation for them is growing; I'm anxiously awaiting Summer Hayes' book so I can learn more about them.
- G3s? The magic is dissapearing. There's very few left that I'm feeling compelled to purchase.
- G3.5s or whatever they're being called today? EHHHHH I'll buy a few Cheerilees.
- Ponyville? I have them, but I'm not attached.

What do you REALLY think happened to the Breezies?
A disgruntled Pinkie Pie and a very large fly swatter...

Who is the one pony you have sworn you'll NEVER OWN IN A MILLION YEARS and why?
I swore I'd never own a nirvana pony... and now I own a few.

What would you like to see offered next in the G3 line?
I'd like to see more variety. Everytime I go to the pony aisle, it looks the same.

Would you rather have :

I'd probably just spend the cash on more stuff, so give me a MOC Mimic!

How do your family and friends feel about your pony habit...or are you still in the collecting closet?
My family supports it; my parents will pick up ponies if they see them at thrift stores, garage sales, auctions, etc. My close friends know about my ponies, and they're all cool with it.

Do you ever see yourself *not* collecting anymore? What do you think would make you stop?
I don't think I will ever not collect. It comes with being a packrat.

Tell the truth! Do you ever still play with your ponies?
I'll arrange them and clean them, but other than that there's no playtime.

Are you a customizer? If not, would you ever?
Yes I am. I haven't made many, but I'll do it if the mood hits me.

What are your thoughts on custom ponies?
I love them! There are so many amazing customizers, and someday I hope to be half as good as some of them.

What rare/popular pony just makes you ask...WHY?
Mimic. WHY. It can't all be from a single episode of MLP. Rapunzel I get; Mimic, no freaking way.

If you could help up Hasbro on working on a MLP line (either G1, G2 , G3 or G3.5), what job would you like to do?
I'd like to decide what hair color(s) the ponies would get.

Hasbro offers you a position on their MLP design team, but you must give up one of the following to get in: your collection, your friends/family, or your bank account. Which will it be?
My collection. I can always get more ponies or do without them.

Which pony would you rescue in a fire?
Happy Tails Tabby from childhood - she's one of the only ponies my parents got me, and I've always loved the Happy Tails.

If you had to have a pony symbol tattooed on your butt which would you pick and why?
I would get Baby Count a lot's abacus because I always said that if I ever get a tatoo, it will be something nerdy and math related.

If you had to pick between a fakie or a bait pony, which would it be, and why?
It really depends on the fakie; there are some that I like and some that are scary. Without knowing, I pick bait pony.

If you had to pick a G1 or G2 to be remade and released with the G3.5 line, who would you choose and why?
Sparkler! If they made her, I would totally buy it!

How many pony meets/cons have you been to?
None yet, but I'm debating going to this year's fair.

Can you leave ponies behind at boot sales/ thrift shops etc, or do you have to rescue them?
I can as long as they are ones that I already have or they are priced way above what I think they are worth.

Is there one color of pony you own more of than any other?
I don't really know, but judging by the color selection, I probably have more pink ponies than any other color.

Do you think there are some as-yet undiscovered G1s out there? Where would you imagine they'd be from?
It wouldn't surprise me. There are a lot of countries that haven't been discussed a whole lot in the pony world.

What got you started collecting as an adult?
Finding G1s at thirft stores, and IDing them at Dream Vally, then seeing all the ponies that I didn't have yet!

About how many ponies are in your herd right now? Honestly, no idea. I have a lot
- Total? No clue!
- From each generation? No idea on G1s or G3s, and I think I have around 25 G2s

What is your ultimate collecting goal?
Get every US released G1 pony

What's your biggest collecting accomplishment to date?
Getting two Nirvana Sparklers - Argie Adult and baby

What's your biggest collecting regret?
Not starting collectiong sooner. There were a lot of G1s that I passed up before I decided to actually collect.

What's the one pony that just seems to elude you?
TE Quackers. She's one of the last somewhat easy to find ponies that I have been able to get.

What is your favorite pony pose and why?
I like the shy pose. The tail always seems to sit perfectly, and the mane falls just right.

Who is your grail pony and why? Do you have it yet?
My grail is Italian Collector's pose Sparkler.

Do you collect mostly MIP or loose ponies? Why do you prefer that?
If I can get MIP, that's what I go for. However, most of my collection is loose.

In your opinion, what are some acceptable and unacceptable flaws in ponies?
I cannot stand major marks on the face or major haircuts.

Do you collect foreigns or variants? If so, what draws you to them?
I have a few. There's something exotic about them.

Who's the one pony you'd never, ever get rid of and why?
Any pony that I received new as a child. I love my childhood ponies and all the memories that go with them.

Which pony do you secretly carry around in your purse with you?
I have a ponyville keychain of Shenanigans.

Where's the weirdest place you've got a pony right now...and why is it there?
There's two pony heads and a body in two glasses in my kitchen. I was in the process of reshaping the one body, and I never finished it.

Did you have ponies as a kid? If so, how many?
Yes I did. I had (and still have) 13.

Did you improve them by giving them haircuts, painting them with glitter polish, or anything else fun?
I was good to my ponies. The worst thing they were ever covered with was dirt from the outside.

Who were the stars of your childhood herd?
My favorite was Hula Hula. I loved her electric colors.

Who were the bad guys?
For some reason, I never really cared for Windy or SS Northstar. They always seemed to be the ones stirring up trouble.

Did you watch the TV show? What was your favorite episode and why?
I remember watching a few episodes, but I didn't remember anything specific about them.

What's your very first pony memory?
I remember when I received Locket and how I spent hours combing her hair, trying to get it perfect.

What pony were you dying to have as a kid but your mom never bought it for you? Do you have it now?
I remember asking for any of the Pearly Babies from a pamphlet that came with one of my ponies. At the time, they were way too expensive.

Did you have any rare ponies as a kid? Who?
No I didn't. I rarest pony I had was Starglow.

Tell us something evil you did to your ponies:
My friends and I used to play 'Hide the Ponies', and whoever found the most won. We used to play outside, and I'm still not quite sure if any ponies got lost....

I read, play video games, collect things, and spend time with friends. I also play the trumpet in a few local bands.

Would you ever name your kid(s) after a pony? If so...what?
I don't know. Probably not as an official name, but I could see giving my kid a pony nickname.

Got pets?
Yes, one cat named Leila.

What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of the fact that I moved away from my family to start out on my own. It's something that I never thought I'd be able to do.

When I was new, I didn't know any better that... there was actually an MLP fair.

I think that the most underappreciated pony is...... Bowtie.
because...... she was featured in a lot of vintage merch, but she doesn't seem to get much recognition.

What sets me apart as a collector is.... having a family that doesn't collect, but appreciates the value of my collection.
