I love the character and the "magic" he brings to the little children who believe in him. To see their little eyes light up when they see Santa and to hear their hopes for Christmas n stuff is just the sweetest thing.

Santa represents all that is commercial and bad about christmas. He is an excuse to exclude Jesus from proceedings and the first lie parents espouse to their children. Dont get me started on christmas trees....
