Attention all Members!

Recently, there have been a couple of trends in the Adoptables forum that need to be addressed.

First, please remember that when a thread is marked "closed" or "on hold," it means that the OP is not taking requests. I know that it can be hard to wait sometimes, but please do not post your ref sheets and requests, as this is unfair to the other members who are waiting patiently for the thread to re-open. Similarly, if the adoptable maker is taking requests in batches, it is important to count the number of requests and see if the batch is full. Sometimes, a thread may say "open," but be full for that batch. If you request on a thread while it is closed or on hold, your request will be ignored unless otherwise stated by the adoptable maker.

Also, I would like to remind everyone of our adoptables request limit. You are each allowed a total of three (3) requests each week. This includes custom request threads and requests made through PMs.

Good reminder! I'm always paranoid about breaking this rule because I lose track of time so easily but I think I've been good so far! I hope.

If I see someone who has requested too many, is there any specific mod who should be PMed about it?

Good question. If you notice that someone has requested too many adoptables, you can PM me about it and I'll look into it.

Ah yes I was always curious about the whole "batch" thing. I have been doing it wrong. Doh.
