IS that the person that talked about her from before?? the UK seller?
(trots off to find thread...)
here: www.mlparena.com/Forum...ight=.html
ok, now I am curious = I thought the consensus was faded on that item...
oops = too old thread (but good for history sake)
this one: www.mlparena.com/Forum...54613.html
hmmm... no - that one doesn't have the red, ah well I am no wiz on a search engine
Overall I guess a cool faded variant for a gusty lover, but I"d say that's just faded like how I have a white hearted snuzzle

I believe she is faded. Pink/red fades more easily than other colours, and when that happens in purple, it does leave blue behind.

Well, I have the purple leaf non-glitter Gusty, and I also have the blue leaf version. Her feet are marked Hong Kong. Her symbol is definitely blue, not faded. I don't remember where i got her or how long I've had her, either.

IMO that is clearly faded. I've had so many ponies who have had their eyes fade to clear blue from the original purple.
In addition to sun it can also happen with bleach.. had a Daddy Sweet Celebrations who had his purple symbol parts turn to blue when I tried to fade a stain from him.

I think hathorcat is right. We are used to the term "faded" meaning what happens when a color is exposed to sun, so we think it should be uneven. But fading can happen all sorts of ways. So just because something is an even color doesn't mean it's not faded.

In Finnish MLP-site is saying that Gusty with blue, non-glitter symbols is called "non so soft Gusty" and with green eyes and glitter symbols she is called "Scandinavian Gusty"...? (scroll a little bit down the page)
In this page is a MOC picture of Gusty with blue non-glitter symbols. I'm little bit confused, because have always believed that she's variation...
