I'm trying to find the right paint colour for Mimic, I really wanna get the colour right, but I don't wnt to have to mix 35463 different colours to get it. So, my fiance is taking me out tomorrow to see if we can find a place that will make a colour to match Mimic. Which means Mimic's going on a road trip tomorrow. I need to find a place that can mix the paint so I can have a bulk amount so I can practice properly. Does that make sense??

I got sculpting mesh and Milliput the other day at Hobby Lobby so I'm nearly done collecting supplies. I still need hair so that's next on the list. I'm thinking I should rehair before I start sculpting wings in case I have to pierce through the pony to anchor the wings.

I doubt I'll be getting any work done on her in the next week or so because my husband is in on leave until the third I might go ahead and order her hair so it can be on its way though.

WOW Daf and Neko look amazing!

Everything looks fab so far, everyone keep going! I missed the sign up though being new each pony is a new challenge lol ( currently making 5 characters from fifth element so this can be my supporting challenge!)

I'm going to be out of town until after the new year. Right now I'm stuck on how to proceed on my Automaton Pony, but I have a bait for my persona.

BUMP! first WIP due January 3rd (or somewhere around there)

My WIP consists of a prepped bait and the crystals ordered for the dark queen. I know exciting right ;p

I ordered my hair and I got my styling-sized bait; now I'm priming her ... terribly exciting, right? I will update with a pic when it looks more exciting (by Jan. 3rd, I promise.)

I ordered my hair the other day, I hope it's the right color. I thought Dolly Hair had more varieties of blonde in the past. I may also go over my pony again as I found a brighter white while in Hobby Lobby. I also picked up some of those Colour Shapers that I'd mentioned before- I can't believe how much more control I have with them than with a brush. I was able to produce lovely fine lines right out of the gate so I'm very excited to see what I can do with a little practice.

I'm going to be ordering hair soon. I started trying to figure out the paint colours for Mimic and practice painting on fakie victims. BWAHAHA!!!

as my side project got finished real quickly, that doesn't really count, lol. they're being submitted to dA right now, so I'll have them up here real soon.

I have gotten no further on Kriek, though. I'll seal her soon, and start on her mane. then I need to get around to doing her symbol ^^
I really should get to sealing her, as she's fallen over once already and gotten an ugly scratch. good thing I've still got the paint mix.
