The when did you become a collector got me thinking: what was your very first My Little Pony? Is she/he still your fave?

My very first pony was FF Blossom. My grandmother bought her for me when I was four years old. She's still one of my favorites.

Ha I only wish I could remeber what my first pony was! I started getting ponies when I was 1-2 I think so I was way to young to remember. Neither one of my parents remeber either, seeing there were so many of them lol.

Whizzer. My only pony for ages. I got other ponies later... a sea pony, creamsickle, lady flutter... but nobody came close to Whizzer. One of my earliest memories is playing with her in the bath, and my sister being there, and claiming she was hers. I was so angry

When I became a collector of G3s, of course I remembered Whizzer. I was in another state at the time, and I could only take my mother's word for it that all of my old ponies were in the garage. When I got home (with a substantial collection of G3s already), I frantically looked through them... but Whizzer wasn't there. I gave up hope on finding her. I went back to school (not a long drive from home, fortunately), and within a few weeks my mother informed me that she'd found Whizzer in a box of junk from my little sisters's room! I did my best to clean her up, and now she presides over my herd. She's rather beat up, though. Never took good care of my things. Do I care? No! *huggles Whizzer* Having her makes me so happy!

I don't remember what my first pony was...but I remember I had the pink see-through pony with hearts and stars in her, and her symbol was umbrellas...I think her name was Parasol? But I'm not sure. And I had Melody, the pegasus with the musical notes...and a sweetheart sister with purple bows all over her...and a white rainbow-haired pony with a, like, sun symbol. Those are the only ones I really remember.

My grandparents gave me Bowtie for my 3rd birthday and I remember not being quite sure what to do with her. I must have figured it out, though, because around 5th grade, I counted my ponies and I had about 150. Baby Moondancer was the next one I remember getting, my babysitter gave her to me and the blue seapony with pink hair and a pink shell. It was cool. Bowtie's tail always fell out, though.

My first pony was Ringlet! Sadly, when I got her, my little sister tried to make her into a bunny by coloring the insides of her ears and trying to scribble out her symbol. But I've cleaned her up a bit and re-curled her hair, and put her in a place of honor

I don't remember much about my ponies when I was little--just that I had over 100. My mom gave them away while I was in elem. school one day, which I refer to as the toy purge.

I know I had the Princess ponies (1st release) because I remember having the Bushwoolies. I remember the Waterfall playset vaguely and Dream Castle (so I had Majesty and Sprinkles) I also remember vaguely having the flutters because the wings were so beautiful. But the ONLY pony that I REMEMBER completely having, and not vaguely or due to accessories that I remember is Baby Tic-Tac-Toe. So about 18 years later I managed to snag her MIB off of ebay.

FF Cotton Candy was my first pony. But she wasn't my favorite. Favorites changed from time to time until I got a SS Twilight. She was my favorite when I saw her at the store, and she still is.

my very first was Cotten candy, Blossom, Minty, Butterscotch, Blue Belle, and Snuzzle. My father brought them home from work one day. I don't have any of them now.
My favorite has always been Rose Dust and North Star I still have both of them

My first to arrive in the mail was the Bride pony. She was just soo gorgeous. I think soon after that I got Sugarberry. I was hooked! I've only been collecting about a year. :oops: I actually stumbled upon them when Christmas shopping for my then 7 year old cousin on ebay.

CF Cotton Candy apparently, given to me by my cousin Alexandra (who was about 8), for my 3rd birthday in 1986.

But the first one I remermber getting was Baby Cotton Candy the Christmas after. I can still remermber pulling off the wrapping paper and seeing the box. I remembered that for years before I ever saw a picture of a similar box.

Cotton Candy wasn't really one of my faves, but she holds a really special place in my heart (one of the few originals on display). I love my baby Cotton Candy still.

Starflower. I was maybe 5.

the very first pony i remember getting was so soft magic star. I also remember having rosedust and losing one of her flutter wings in kindergarden under a bookshelf and my teacher wouldn't help me find it. i had maybe 10 ponies total as a kid (*pout*) although they were (are) my fav toy. Now, thanks to the miracle that is eBay, i have over 150 (and a lot less money in my savings account to show for it). :?
