(Mods, if this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it <3s)

Hello everyone! I think those new Newborns are too cute! Too bad they only come in the Core 7, but Customizers can change all that. So I wanted to know, what goes into these newborns and how might one go about customizing them. So I bought an extra StarSong today to make this tutorial/information thing and to eventually customize.

So here goes:

Big Daddy said he wanted to help out, or rather, that's how I interpreted his groan. Here is our victim..er...subject. Say hello Baby Starsong!

Starsong:%20\"Hello!%20Today%20is%20my%20birthday!\" That's%20nice!%20Out%20of%20the%20box%20with%20you! Next Step, Customizing! But that's for another day!

I hope that's helped people Smile I hope I wasn't the only curious one. And maybe if someone figures out how to make hair like that or knows what they make the hair out of, they wouldn't mind sharing. Smile

I can't wait to see the customs people start making out of these. They will be so cute!

Thanks for taking the time to show us what's in those newborns! I'd probably cheat and sculpt in new hair (and a tail) for them, if I ever got up the gumption to customize one.

I think I'd make new plug holes and give her a real mane and tail. I'm considering trying to make a tail hole on my Rainbow Dash....But she's so cute and cost so much I think that she's a little too expensive to bait just yet. Now that Pinkie Pie...She's a different story. This was very helpful! Thanks a lot!

Thanks so much for sharing! Love the pics :). I wonder if a small crocheted strip of those fancy "fur" yarns would work for hair?

HUH... That's cool, but now I'm very dissapointed in the product. I think I will wait to buy these until I can find them second-hand.

There's no tail! WTF? It's a PONY, ponies have tails. Though I know this can be resolved if one wanted, but that's just cheap. And what's with the sewn on hair deal? No real "mane" going down the neck. It's like a cross between the G1 teen-tiny ponies and a human or something. Dude, just seriously dissapointed in them.

I'm glad you showed us before we went out and bought them. Thanks for your tutorial, I will be awaiting the results. I'm sure you will be coming up with something really neat!

That's what I was thinking, sculpt some hair and of course a tail! (silly Hasbro, Ponies have tails)

You could always try long pile faux fur for the mane! ^^

Is that a drainage hole in the bottom for a bathtime trip? Now I wonder if that bath set uses real water.

And now I know there's no metal to worry about ^__^ Thank you ever so much. I remove 99% of my Ponies' tail rings, I call it protection for the future. XD

You're welcome. I thought it would be good to make a tutorial thing.

As far as drainage, that hole is not. Its so they can sit on playset things.

I think I will try the plug method as well. I also am going to take the hair sample to mum and see if she can figure out how they did it Smile
