Okay, so I started some experiments with big huge thanks to Emery for providing much needed subjects. I started with 5 Sundances, wrote a journal documenting every flaw I could find on each one, and marked them 'A' to 'E'.

I will of course update with more pictures of phase two at a later time.

The other Sundances will hopefully offer similar conclusive evidence for other conditions. So, to close - Pindot is NOT mold. Let's drop that word once and for all Smile

That's **super** cool BlackCurtains - especially the microscope sample. I can't wait to try the hot water and scubbing on my old Chief- he has a single pindot speck on his chest and has always been my fav Big Brother. It'll also be really splendid to hear of any further developing research. Smile I once found a Baby Countdown in an antique store window that had been there in the sun so long one of his legs had gone semi-transparent. Would be great to hear of anything else you discover.

This is so awesome! Smile I only have one pony with pindot and it's a bait to begin with. Poke Tounge Floater has seen better days she's missing half of her symbol and covered in pindot

I've suspected that 'pin dot' and 'ingrained dirt' were the same thing for several years now. I actually suggested you look into the difference between the two on your first mold project so thanks a ton for looking in to it.

All I can say is... worshippy
All your time spent on these projects just helps educate all of us.
I have so many ponies baited right now for the pin dot effect and now
we know they are not contagious.
Great Job!
