Grand Champions, one of the few Model Horse lines I collected as a kid, has been off my radar for a long time now. I had stopped collecting them somewhere along the way only to want to start collecting them again -after- 2007. It was that time that the line had stopped being produced by the company that took over the line in 2000 :|

I know I can probably fine them on Ebay but I'm hoping the company will give in and start making them again.

Anyone else wishing the same?

They don't sell them much in the US anymore, but you can find them at Tuesday Morning stores sometimes. I recently found two draft foals and a Westphalian stallion. The stallion wasn't even packaged like it should be for retail. It was in a little brown shipping like box with the Grand Champion logo on it and a label with picture. Like it wasn't meant to be sold here. The foals were in normal packaging for retail and only $2 each. The stallion was around $5 I think.

I haven't seen those in a long time. I had a few as a kid and loved them.

I had a couple, and a foal... and a stable. And I loved them!
At one point, I wanted to start collecting them, but I don't really have the time, money and interest, even though I'm in love with thier heavy horses.
I think I should just try to get mine sold though ^^'

It would be nice if they started making them again. I still have my original GCs, complete with tack and my Western stable too, though it's currently in storage. Keep your eyes open when you pony hunt at second hand stores, I've managed to find quite a few GCs there

darn we had a bunch of them but they already got sold but i will keep an eye out for them if you want!

I would but there isn't much in the way of 2nd hand stores here other than goodwill and both of them don't really carry much in the way of ponies/horses :/

Wow. I used to have a couple of those! A neighbor girl and I would meet up and play with ponies and model horses. She had a lot of grand champions. I had a few cute ones. A pinto, too. And, didn't they have miniature ones too?

Ugh. I had quite possibly 50 of them growing up. I moved onto GC during the MLP G2 line.

Boy, this brings back good memories!

I quite possibly have 50 now. I also included the Breyer Dapples lines with my GCs since they were the same style. Breyer Dapples had freaky eyes though, you can't see that much white on a real horse's eye.

I had tons of these when I was a kid. I also wish they'd bring them back. They had some that were just stunning. But if they did....it'd be another thing I'd be tempted to collect.

I have some I have a mare and foal set, and a few minis. Oh and a couple of the big ones that you can rear up and they whinny and such.
