I posted on the TP how I was unhappy with my transaction with ponyland express on ebay.
For a total of almost 11 bucks I was sent a pony I won for 4.99, in a manilla clasped envelope, not a normal shipping envelope, from San Antonio, 2 1/2 hours away, from where we now live, stamped 1.32. I knew it didn't cost 5 to ship when I bid but I assumed that the seller would be shipping confirmation or priority and I had no idea the seller was in San Antonio.
I requested a refund on the overcharge and got a response saying we wouldn't get much back. I could care less if she gave us 3 bucks back!
I'm thinking of giving them a neutral.
Their supplies were definatly lacking, the pony wasn't even wrapped! She was dropped in the envelope and mailed. Sometimes I put ponies in an envelope unwrapped but I use bubble mailers, not manila office envelopes! Shipping envelopes aren't too expensive.
I've seen some ponies I wanted to bid on but I've decided to buy from someone else because I DO NOT want another overpriced pony.

Hmmm, well, it could go a couple of different ways. You could see what they intend to give you as feedback as well, then could post appropriately afterwards. Be warned though, you may leave a neutral and they will still come back to neg you. And though that is retaliatory feedback and not deserved, ebay won't do anything. I think at this point its going to be a game of chess, and you'll have to wait for their next move Huh

They left positive feedback.
I'm thinking about giving them a neutral or a positive saying: Needs to pack items better, send in bubble mailers
or something. Makes me wonder what the heck they're using the extra 4 and change for.

ehhhh, just a way to mark up an item a little more methinks.

You could word it like this:

item as described, shipping=very overpriced and not packed well.

Have been in this situation myself, here is how I go about it,remember if you were the seller you wouldn't want a neg.If I get the item I dont leave a neg,if it is hideous and not like the description I leave a neutral saying why ,if shipping is overcharged I always ask first for a refund and I find 75% of people will refund but if no refund then I give a pos but put in the feedback "cant leave a neg as I got the item but was charged (say) $5 more for shipping than the actual cost. This way you alert every one without getting grief back from the seller. And lets face it sellers go mental if you leave a neg and is it worth the grief, this way you still achieve something
